Custom Action Updates
In oder to ensure that our custom action can track that a user has actually completed an action, we've made a couple of updates to how this action works. With browsers like Safari and Chrome Incognito (and soon regular Chrome) blocking 3rd party cookies, it has become increasingly difficult to properly track the completion of this action.
With the latest update, there are now two separate scripts you need to place on your website in order for us to track the completion of the custom action.
For example: Say you want to track a purchase on your store using the custom action. The first script is to be placed on the page you are linking the user to in order to complete the action.
The second script is to be placed on the page where the action is completed. If they are making a purchase, then this would be your shopping cart thank you page.
